Hayley's Tips

  • Avoid using strong colours together: red and black, pink and black, yellow and black. If you like wearing red, try using another tone of red instead of black, like burgundy or claret, they are softer and much more approachable.
  • Less is best! Keep jewellery simple but accessorise well: a nice sparkly scarf will lift any daytime outfit to evening. Don't drown yourself in perfume.
  • Keep make-up simple. Too much is scary and never sexy. Buy a nice tinted lip-gloss and apply over your lipstick, add a little eye shadow and you should be ready to impress!
  • If you are past your 20s do not show your midriff even if you still have the figure.
  • Never wear clothes a size too small or a size too large. You will end up spending too much time readjusting yourself.
  • We all know what our assets are. Show them off, but not in your face. Always wear properly fitting underwear. A good bra will make your old worn out favourite top look better and help you improve your posture.
  • Remember... always dress leaving a little to the imagination. Never show all your assets off at once. It will come across as tarty and cheap.
  • To achieve a sexy sophisticated look wear softer materials, not hard structured styles. Knee-length skirts flatter more body shapes.
  • Look at others. If you like the way they dress, tell them. A compliment is so empowering. Ask where they shop, how they put outfits together and whether they have any honest advice for you.
  • When shopping keep focused. Try smaller independent shops, as they are generally more familiar with their stock and have a more focused selection than larger retailers.
